• ‘I am here and I am involved’
Ann Levine
Once an attorney active in courtrooms, Ann Levine is now a WAHM -- and much happier for it.
“WAHM” is her shorthand for “work at home mom,” something she began to do about five years ago, starting from scratch.
Now with her one-woman business boasting revenue “in seven figures,” Ms. Levine says she’s found the right combination of vocation while working at home to stay in touch with her family.
“As I’ve grown my business, I’ve relied more and more on the help of others. But at least I am here and I am involved,” says Ms. Levine.
(Ann Levine talks about how she got started and built her business in today’s CVBT Audio Interview via Skype. She also imparts her “six secrets” for success for other WHAMs. Please left-click on the link below to listen now or right-click to download the MP3 audio file for later listening.)
Her most salient piece of advice is to seek advice.
“Rely on others. Don’t feel you can’t approach others for advice,” says Ms. Levine. “More times than not, they’re very happy to give it.”
She is a former law school admission consultant whose business, LawSchoolExpert.com, offers advice to thousands of law school applicants and pre-law students. She is the author of the new book, “The Law School Admission Game: Play Like An Expert.”
