 Big city girl adopts Central Valley, now sings its praises

Merced's Rachel Rivero hopes this CD will be her big break.
Rachel Rivero of Merced is one of the only female Hispanic country and western singers and is hoping her new CD, praising the Central Valley, will be her big break.
It’s called California Country-Big Valley and has been released on Ms. Rivero’s own label, GitanaMusic.
The San Francisco-born mother of five children teaches English when she is not singing.
